Description

SO i got bored and wanted to practice realistic people. I posted on FB that I was going to work on portraits and this is my frient steven he was the first to respond. Took about 3 hours in PS CS6 using 2 brushes the basic chalk and a custom one I made for hair. Hope every one likes it. I guess it counts as a speed paint lol

Its a good piece overall. If you want to push it further, work on the textures in the jacket. Also, work more on the details of the eyes. In this composition, the viewers' eyes go to the eyes of this guy, so work on putting more detail into that. I also feel like we are losing the neck with the tshirt, so work on distinguishing that. Also flip your canvas to where its mirrored to make sure all of the anatomy is correct<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> We all tend to draw in a slant, so flipping it will assure that you are not doing that. over all though it is realistic.
